McKensey has been with us for nearly six years, and has directed, music directed, and choreographed various productions for both Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids and our Actors Academy for the Performing Arts.
She graduated from the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Acting with a minor in musical theatre, and in addition to teaching, she has performed in numerous musical theatre productions, including the The Sound of Music National Tour (Ensemble), Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins) and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Truly Scrumptious).
McKensey loves working with us and our students, is excited to be a returning staff member, and is looking forward to continuing her time with us, while also taking advantage of the many performing opportunities Colorado has to offer.
