“At the end of just a few weeks, our kids performed in shows that were remarkable for their professionalism, beauty, and entertainment value.
We were thoroughly impressed by the results – especially given that the performers were not subject to auditions or other entrance exams. Without exception, the children were prepared for their roles and performed them with joy and confidence.”

“I want to write you a note and let you know how thrilled I am with how my children have grown as a result of their summer with Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids.
My younger daughter, Dasha, has blossomed into a wonderful little actress. I remember some years ago watching her in a school play. All she could do was stand on stage and chew on her fingers. Watching her now is a delight. She stands up in front of a group of people and speaks with real authority in her voice. And that’s not just on stage.
Some weeks back she had a number of friends spending the night and they all wanted to watch a movie. She convinced them that it would be more fun to make their own play. They all agreed. Those girls wrote and produced their own little play instead of watching television. I was so proud of my daughter’s skill and leadership in getting the other kids to do something creative.
Thank you again for providing the best summer experience for our kids. The positive impact of Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids reveals itself continuously.”

“Thank you to Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids. You are doing such an incredible service for so many kids and audiences.
All of the experiences Alice has had with you have been good ones that she will remember for the rest of her life. You’ve turned her childhood into a magical brick road with a wonderful cast of characters and you to guide them.”
Tom Matejka
parent of 10-year-old student
“The most valuable thing is that the kids learn to work as a group, support each other, and pull together for the success of the entire show without competition. So many difficult things, instead of looking difficult, just looked impressive and convincing.”
Marti Moore
parent of 12-year-old student
“The camp was run in such a professional manner that it gave the kids an opportunity to see what real stage performance is like. The staff did a great job of bringing out the potential in all the kids! My daughter is now hooked on musical theatre.”
Stacie Gilmore
parent of 10-year-old student
“My daughter, and many other children like her, have found a place that supports their artistic aspirations, and allows them the freedom to grow and develop into lifelong artists, and supporters of the art community as a whole.”
Molly Robbins
parent of seven-year-old student
“Usually with summer camps, especially if they are as intensive as Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids’ summer camp is, my daughter becomes bored very quickly and disinterested.
But every day after camp when I asked her how her day was, and held my breath as I waited for the answer, for three weeks each day she said it was the best day she ever had. This is a place where the arts are fun, the kids learn, and parents are happy!”
Rick Webster
parent of 12-year-old student
“Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids has been extremely instrumental in exposing our son to high quality theatre. I can’t say enough about the quality of the people and the facilities they make available for us.
When my wife and I consider why we live in Denver, one of the keys for us is that this is a world class city. Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids is part of what makes us feel this way.”
Sarah McKenzie
“Thank you for running such a great organization for kids. I tell everyone I know that if they have a child with an interest in theatre, there’s really only one place worth going to in town.”
