After School Classes in Boulder

Our after-school acting classes in Boulder focus primarily on teaching basic acting, vocal, and dance techniques, along with the creative process and nurturing imaginative play.

These classes are great for both beginners and intermediate skilled performers alike who want to hone their acting skills and develop their passion for the theatre.

All of our acting classes in Boulder end with a final presentation on the last day of class. These final presentations are typically 15-30 minutes in length and are focused on the actors, although we may use simple costume accessories and set pieces to enhance the presentation!

Cancellation Policy: Fees are non-refundable. However, fees beyond deposit may be used as credit after a good faith effort has been made to address the withdrawal issue. Exceptions may be made in the case of family or medical emergencies.

Monday

A Star is Born Auditions Class. (Ages 10+)

4:30-6pm. 8 weeks. January 20 - March 10

Learn valuable skills for how to excel at even the most competitive audition as students gain more self-confidence and learn professional auditioning etiquette. Together we will choose monologues and songs that demonstrate good range and that highlight your individual strengths as a performer.  Class time will be spent honing and polishing monologues and songs enabling students to express themselves in the most natural way.  Cold reads and slating will also be a part of this fast paced class that will prepare any student for any audition.

Final Presentation is March 10, 5:30 pm

Tuesday

TikTok Trends Dance Class. (Ages 10+)

4:30-6pm. 8 weeks. January 21 - March 11

Polish your dance skills as students learn dances faster and with more efficiency.  Tune into the latest TikTok trend as we choose a new popular dance each week, perfect it, and make it their own.  Students will engage in new dance trends as well as creating their own signature movements as they study the dance forms, such as Hip-Hop and other street dance styles, which have influenced TikTok!

Final Presentation is March 11, 5:30 pm

Thursday

Mamma Mia Singing and Performance Class. (Ages 9-16)

4:30-6:30pm. 8 weeks. January 23 - March 13

It’s ABBA!  In this fun class students will dance and sing their hearts out as they create a showcase of the hit musical, Mamma Mia!  Come sing and dance to your favorite songs including “Money, Money, Money”, “Super Trooper”, “Dancing Queen” and more!

Final Presentation is March 13, 6:00 pm

Friday

Aladdin Musical and Performance Class. (Ages 6-10)

4:30-6pm. 8 weeks. January 24 - March 14

This musical performance class is for the students eager to perform and learn new acting skills and techniques as they sing, dance, and act out their favorite songs and moments from Aladdin!  Character, Movement, and Acting Fundamentals will be taught each week as we go for a magical carpet ride!

Final Presentation is March 14, 5:30 pm
