Kia is a theater technician and stage manager who graduated from MSU Denver with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Technology and Design. She has been working with us since spring 2021.
Her professional stage management work includes Headliners and Ann (Cherry Creek Theatre), Vox Vergere (Phamaly Theatre Company), and Chicago and Polaroid Stories (MSU Denver).
For our Actors Academy for the Performing Arts, Kia has stage managed several productions, including the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Lion King Jr., Shrek Jr., A Chorus Line and Cats. She has also directed Cinderella for our Boulder summer camp, as well as Moana and High School Musical for our after-school classes.
Kia adores being our lead Junior Lab Teacher in Denver, and she loves painting and shopping, so she’s also our resident scenic painter and props master.
