Jennifer Bartos

Jennifer Bartos has been teaching music and theater for over 22 years. She has been directing for Rocky Mountian Theater for Kids for 15 years and is a music and theater teacher at Teller Elementary in Denver, Colorado. Jennifer is a teacher passionate about incorporating all forms of performing arts into her classes, including dance, theater, instrumental, and vocal music. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Management and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Reading and Writing, both from the University of Colorado at Denver. Her dedication and hard work were recognized with the Colorado Thespian Elementary Educator Award in 2013 and then again in 2020. In 2007 and again in 2010, she was named the Mile High Teacher for Barney Ford Elementary School. Jennifer’s distinguished rating on her 2023 and 2024 LEAP performance for her school is a testament to her commitment to excellence. She believes every child can shine, and her pride and duty are to help every child entering her classes find their true potential through the Performing Arts. She is excited to direct the Friday After school programming this year and can’t wait to see what your children will create!
